Good afternoon, just would like to say hello from Essex!
I've only just signed up after getting my hands on a grubby mk4 golf. It needs a little work doing to it which I plan to do, so far I've changed the battery and given it a oil change as it had been sitting over a year!
But my next mission is to get the abs light turned off, is there any obvious way of pin pointing it without a code reader? (Pedal test maybe?) Car isn't road worthy yet so will be hard to get to a garage for a simple scan.
If I can't find anyone local with a scanner are there any cheap ebay/amazon ones that will do the job? I once own a pop comm for vauxhalls, did the job well for only £15!
