Steering Wheel swap is it possible A6 2005 3.2 FSI Quattro

Hello again, im re-posting this request as i still want if possible to swap my current steering wheel to one with volume and menu buttons... Anyone out there know if it can be done ...Thanks


Hi my A6 has a non multi function steering wheel, it does have the paddles for gear change but no audio buttons. I have looked at a wheel on ebay for 50 pound which is off the same car same year, it has the buttons i want plus the paddles for gear shift... but no air bag..

Can i ask would it be a straight swap with mine or would i need to find other components to make it work in my car. , i would like it to work with my MMi high 2G.

hi yes it will be straight swap cos if you have paddle shift that mean you have correct steering wheel module , slip ring and air bag wires so just swap wheel and you need to make coding by vcds on the end to make it work
