Does anyone speak Fault-codish please ?
I recently bought a Fault Code Reader, a Autel Vagsanner, to try and identify any possible reason for the severve but intermittent hesitantcy / jerkiness upon hard acceleration. I replaced the MAF and the Lambda sensor last week. Apologies if I am in the wrong forum - please advise.
The Engine fault codes are:
17833
Tank Ventilation Valve, Short to Ground or EVAP Purge Valve (N80): Short to Ground: P1425
17523
Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating Cuircuit: B1 S1: Short to Ground: P1115
16486
Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit - Low Input or Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too Low: P0102
17697 Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249): Short To Ground: P1289
17955 Boost Pressure Regulation Valve (N75): Short to Ground: P1547
May I ask:
(1)
Should I Erase the codes then run the Fault Code Reader again (so that only those problems not already rectified will show up?)
(2)
Does the frequency with which the words "Short to Ground" appear indicate any common problem ?
(3)
Any suggestions on how I should:confused: proceed ? Any steer would be much appreciated.
Thank you
Kevin
