I have noticed that the narrative appears to be in German? I drove off today with the handbrake slightly up and guessed what the beep and flash on dash was straight away but it was in German.

my car is deffo UK spec but can't work out if it should be in English I assume it should? I have the Rns-d head unit although not sure if this would change it. I think the service miles etc is also in German apart from the numerals... Can't think now!

There is a setting somewhere on mine that's asks for the language you want to use. If not I'm sure it will be on VCDS somewhere? I'm passing your way on Boxing Day if you want me to have a look?

Mitchy that's very kind of you. I do have vcds lite myself but think software expired now so don't think I can do anything with it? Wouldn't want to tie you up even if it only takes quarter of an houron Boxing Day.

i thought there may be a hidden menu by holding down a button or two with ignition on a certain position haha

I will be passing on the M4 on route to Yorkshire so don't mind if you change your mind.

On my car, press menu and the language option is in there.
