Hi there can someone please me.

I'm having problems with my Audi Q7. The engine management light is on and has been diagnosed as Bank 2 inlet manifold problem.

I have seen full manifolds half repair kits and full repair kits.

What's the best way to go about this?

Any help or feedback appreciated

As well as pleasing me cab someone also help me lol

Welcome

Do a search on the forum as it's a common problem.

Go onto VW AUDI Forum - VWAF - VW Audi Forum (www.vwaudiforum.co.uk) on your laptop and search from there, I'm assuming you're using Tapatalk?

As well as pleasing me cab someone also help me lolif your servo motor is ok, go for half kit. Stanislav from airshox is your man. He sends you a refurbished manifold and you send your old one when you have changed it. He's very reasonable and quick to reply to your questions, even on Sunday

Start with a fault code scan, the engine light could mean anything.

I would agree with Chris and get it diagnosed first.

i have a cheap VAG-K-CAn that i bought from Ebay sometime ago.
i tried to read the fault but nothing came out but it can clear the fault.
once the light clear it come back after few days. so i am very confused
as said the car run very well

Your old device won't read the car correctly, get it scanned with the newer hex-usb version, see the VCDS user Map link in my signature for anyone near you.

If the car run Well it could be the Manifold. My light comes and goes. To be honest when the light is on my car feels more responsive lol.

Don't ask me how.

Make 10 useful posts (no post count spam) and pm them through the forum.

No point in guessing what the fault is on a modern car.

Couldn't solve it at the moment as it's an option between a fixing kit for the manifold or to replace the whole thing. Need to decide.

Heard this problem is on all the 2.7 and 3.0 engines so maybe a 4.2 might be an option.

is there a risk of further damage if the car keep running?
it do scare me i most admit that car is like my babay:biglaugh:

thank you for this info Chris.
I am not sure what will be count in the 10 post. so maybe i will have to take it to a garage
and come back here with the fault code

is it a job one can do without going to the Garage?
because soon they see you parking that car they directly counting the monthly
rent from your pocket

Don't go assuming the worst yet, scan first.

good morning All,
please a quick question before i go out do something silly,
my audi Q7 flashed the engine oil light yesterday. i stopped but realise i do not have reserve oil in the car for topping up. but when i started the car back the light went out and have not come back in.
but i have bought the MOBIL ESP oil this morning to top it up. the car have done about 10K miles since last service. it is ok to top up or this can be sign of something wrong?
please looking forward for your expert advice

hello All,
i have now scan my car.
the fault code is p0401-002 Insuficient flow- intermitent.
EGR faul.
i have read that i need to clean the EGR valve.
for AUDI Q7 i have no idea where it is located.
not sure if this is a straight forward job but the mechanic was talking of about £800
please can someone guide me on what to do?
many thanks for your replies
