Problems after a service

Hi,

I have just serviced my A4 avant estate 2010 with a 1.8 tfsi engine.

I changed the oil,oil filter,air filter and cabin filter.

Two days later the engine light came on but the car is running fine!!

I done a scan and it brought it P2015..inlet manifold motor is open

Is it just a coincidence as I have renewed the air filter or is it the imrc away??

I've got the light on again, few days ago it was the IMRC that put it on, think its probably the same again. i hear that they are problematic on certain years/engines and audi extended the warranty o cover them... not sure how to find that out for certain though

will be reading my codes again when new reader i ordered turns up, the one i borrowed went back to my mate on monday.

If the car has an extended warranty then let them find the fault!

Which code reader did you buy?

An elm Bluetooth one, I'll keep you posted on that as it's cheap enough to justify just buying one and throwing it in the glove box
