Instrument cluster lamp test defective

Hi. I got fault code adress17. Instrument cluster
01298 instrument cluster lamp test 014 defective. So far cluster works fine and looks like light too. Anyone have any experience with it? Thanks

Do you have VCDS or a proper VAG tool? There should be a diagnostic procedure in there somewhere that does a segment test on the cluster. Basically, it switches on each warning light and operates the gauges, etc to let you see if something isn't working. I think that is what you'd need to do to try and diagnose what causing the code.

Hi. I got full vcds. Try run output test but its says what required conditions not met. And after that if i try to get in adress17. Istrument cluster its fails and says to many communication errors
