I have the standard DRL's fitted to my car but want to put led lights in. I took the headlight unit out to find there are no bulb holder appatures to get to the DRL's. I called Audi and they said it wasn't possible to repace the bulbs as they are not removable and you need to replace the whole headlight unit when a bulb does blow! I have seen many cars on line which have modded their lights to led so it is possible. Looking at the back of the headlight unit, there are mouldings like the dip and main beam access points but the plastic is moulded over. If I were to cut these out, can you get access to DSL bulb holders and just swap them out? Has anyone on the forum done this mod and if so how easy is it. Thanks, any advice would be much appreciated.
