Morning All,

Another request for advice on replacing tyres!

I will soon have to replace two (or possibly three) tyres on our 2012 A3 TDi BE sportback. Tyres on the car are Bridgestone Potenza 225/40/R18; I’m not certain but I suspect they have been on the car since new.

Has anyone a recommendation for replacements and know of any good deals or promotions that are running?

(Have benefited from the Michelin fuel card previously, and just checked on ATS website and the offer is running now on (£30 fuel card on two 18” tyres).

Thanks in advance.
Dave

I tend to use Tyretraders and have them shipped for local fitting. The Uniroyals are excellent value (£68+ shipping + fitting), but I don't like asymmetric and so went for the Goodrich (£73) on the rear and will probably put them on the front in a few months time.

PS, same car

Can't fault the Michelins. Bit dearer but worth it in the long run.

The Goodrich tyres are made by Michelin in Romania. If you really want Michelin, then Costco has some very good deals in you know someone with a card.

Thank you for your replies.

I am tempted to go for the Michelin Pilot Sport 3; they cost £110 each from ATS Euromaster including fitting. If I buy four this will qualify for a £70 fuel card and effectively make them £92.50 each. Seems like a good deal.
