Hi everybody,
I hope you can help. The problem I have with our 2lt FSI 54 A3 Sportback is flickering dashboard lights, the headlights do not flicker and I have checked the battery connections for tightness. The VARTA battery is about 4 months old and car starts
and runs very well with no obvious problems.
I have carried out a full VCDS scan and the fault coming up for the lights/dimmer switch is 01295 which I am unable to find on the Ross-Tech site. I have also searched the web and can find various comments on that code but none seem to be
very conclusive as to whether its the switch itself, the alternator, battery or immobiliser.
I have attached the scan result and would really appreciate any help you can offer.
