Hi all

I've got a new A4 20 tfsi se - my first audi and love it. However I made the mistake of not going for the S-line - handling does not match the 200 horses.

My question is, can anyone recommend a set sports springs I could fit to a B7 without causing uneven tyre wear and future problems? (also a recommended make would be appricated).

Many thanks

I'm in the same situation .. same car - but my requirement is more related to reducing the ride height to make the car look better rather than feeling I need to improve the handling (I never drive near the limits of the handling).

That said, I'd still like to do the best job possible on my Audi, so after looking at buying just springs, I've decided to get coilovers installed instead.

The set I'm looking at is the non-adjustable version :

I've had quotes of £690 inc VAT to supply with 3 hours labour on top.

The US based Audizine forum has a whole section dedicated to suspension where I found a little useful information - although very much focused on the slammed look which is not what I'm after at all.

Hi Ian,

Agreed the ride height makes the car look like very jacked up. I found the problem with handling on the Motorway, I had to brake hard because someone decided to pull out into the 3rd lane (on a slight bend at the time doing 70mph) the car became extremely uneasy and boat like and I thought the car was going to spin out. (luckly did not) I took it back into Audi, but they said the set up was correct.

Thank you for the info, and the Installation coilovers pics are very handy as my local tyre fitter is prepared to do the job.

Many thanks

Max =)
