I have my car booked in for it's for it's first service on Wednesday. I bought it brand new and do enough miles to justify it being on the long-life service. This service is due after only owning for 8 months (about 9k miles) so I expect it isn't currently on the long-life service. I asked on the phone if they could change it over to the long-life service and they said it couldn't as this time but could next time. I asked why and they didn't give a good explanation. Does anyone know if there is a reason? Or am I just being fobbed off in the hope that I will stick with the annual service?
