Audi led tails

Hi, what exactly is involved retrofitting these in place of standard bulb lights? Is it a new loom... Does the car need coded? If so do they just not work at all prior to that of with limited functionality?

They need coded with vcds, not sure on what happens if they're not coded so assuming they'll not work.

Look on kufatec as they do a retrofit kit. Do you not already have led tails?

Chris I do have them yes and I've built a harness which turns of that annoying fog light issue. But you'll never guess, some prat drove into my rear end again last night. Only happened on March this year,,

Very bad luck. I hope said prat was insured. If the boot lid is dinged, it could be time for a facelift upgrade!

Ye you could be right mate. Will the face lift fit in mine OK... What's the parts number? And light wise is it all new wiring anyone know?
