Hi All
Zipping down the M40 last week, my glow plug warning light started flashing in my A4 2.0TDI Avant. I pulled over, read the manual and it stated that the engine management system had a problem, so I turned the car on and off and it was fine again, until it re-occurred 2 - 3 more times in the next 100 miles, with no particular pattern. I should add that when the light starts flashing, the car looses performance till you can do 55mph max.
I took it to my Audi dealer and they downloaded the latest engine management software and stated that it was fixed, but guess what ?, 10 miles down the bloody road and it started again...
Has anyone had this problem and got it fixed...???
Any help would be appreciated....
