golf diesel engine rebuild AAZ 75 bhp

im rebuilding the above engine and have a cylinder head off of a later engine(90 bhp)code unknown it has injectors held by forks as opposed to the original which screw in,can i use the later head?if so are there any other components which i need to change?

Hi, the later head is from a direct injection engine, yours is a indirect injection engine...You will need the pump, engine management , wiring loom + instruments and a whole lot of sensors for the swap. I suggest you get a similar engine/head and stick with the mechanical pump you have as its way more reliable than the later ones !
