Hi my golf has started a few problems ,first it would not reach the correct temperature when running so I have replaced the thermostat and temperature sensor with genuine vw parts. After this the temperature problem has been resolved with it now sitting at 90 . Also when servicing the car I replaced the fuel filter ,air filter and glow plugs .
Now here's the problem when the car is warming up it starts to misfire and goes into limp mode around 2000 revs in any gear .this can be resolved by turning the engine on and off again but sometimes re occurs. Once the car has reached 90 degrees temperature it runs with no problems at all. Also it starts first time with no problems I have tried putting the old temp sensor back in but it is still the same any ideas as it is driving me mad ?
