drivers door wont open sometimes

I have just fitted a new window regulator in drivers door. Now when I lock the doors I have to try several times to open the drivers door. It will not even open from the inside. Is there a reset I need to do or have I done something when refitting the door panel. can anyone help with some advice on this.

You will have done something when you removed or re-fitted the panel.
