Will Mk3 GTi Skirts and Arches fit Mk3 Estate?

I have a 1994 Golf 2.0GL Estate which now has a few signs of rust. The worst part is the sill on the passenger side whete the rust is visible below the front door and along the top of the sill, in the door opening. All 4 wheel arches are starting to rust a little as well. Would a GTi bodykit cover these areas until I get around to sorting the problem correctly? Do the skirts extend into the door openings to cover the top of the sill? I know it's only temporary but it would take the bad look of it for now I hope!

Front wing, door, sill (front and rear sections) and sill over trim parts are the same for the comparable years but the rear arch covers are specific to the Variant but still only £25.05 per side genuine.
