My son owns a 2009 Scirocco 2.0 TDI, and I want to get a workshop manual for it.
I don't want a Haynes manual, as I've found faults with them in the past (quite major faults, too).

What can you recommend?

Thanks, Mike.

The American 'Bentley' service manuals are the best I've ever come across. They are not cheap and I'm not sure if they do a manual specifically for the Scirocco .If you 'Google' 'Bentley service manual' you should be on the right track.

I've had 3 Bentley manuals over the years and a found them very through but they do show the use of VAG special tools rather than DIY tools.

Thanks for that, but I've just had a look at their website and they don't do one for the new sciroccos.

The best manuals are the VW online manuals that the dealers use. Their not cheap either and also show the use of VAG special tools but they defo do a Scirocco manual :
