My wife's Eos developed a fault last night. When accelerating gently or hard up to around 2.5k rpm, there is a very audible fan noise that seems to be coming from just over where the car radio is. When I put my foot down harder, car goes into limp mode and I get an engine management light on and message, engine fault workshop. Engine management light goes off when car is turned off and on again, but symptoms remain. Any ideas where to start? Won't be able to get it fault read until at least tomorrow, and in the meantime, wife is having to drive my car!
