New S3 Saloon Coming but that exhaust sound :-(

Hi y'all

Got the car on order but not happy with the exhaust note. Is there anything I can do without replacing the exhuast to get a roar from it?

My mate has just got the new s3 and it took a while to get used to the noise. He had the 8p like mine before it and even thought we both prefer the sound on the 8p the sound on the new one does grow on you...he hasn't got the saloon on I'm presuming it's the same sound as the sport back?

I have the s3 saloon and all you can do without changing the exhaust system is drive the car in dynamic mode. That will get it as good as it gets from stock
