Hello from the Peak District . . .
Collecting a '57 "08" A3 Tdie in a couple of days time. Two owners / 61k / FSH etc. in VGC.
I was looking at Mk6 2.0 Tdi Golfs, but a friend suggested looking at A3's.
I've previously had a Fabia 1.9Tdi from new, so when I found this engine was available late on in the A3, it was a done deal !
The test revealed exactly what I wanted - grunty engine (essential where we live), great build & accomodation. Plus, I've saved a packet not buying the Golf !
looking forward to extensive use of the search facility for audio etc . . .

You've made a good choice and you'll have no issues as long as you keep the DPF clean.

Thanks, Chris. I was rather hoping to avoid the dreaded DPF, but we'll be travelling maybe 16k pa so presume we'll be OK . . .
