Considering a Q5 but am slightly concerned by roadtests which criticise the space(lack of) in the driver's footwell on RHD models. Has anyone even noticed? Or do you sit with your feet offset to the right, but get used to it?

They aren't offset if you adjust your seat correctly. Have driven many 8K platform cars and haven't had any issues with the pedals.

It worried me initially. Then after test driving customers cars for two years or so I suddenly remembered reading about it and looked down the centre line and could see what they meant-then I got on with driving and forgot about it again.

How does that work? Can the seat be moved sideways or diagonally to align it with the pedals?

No but if you're positioned right in your seat you shouldn't have any issues with the pedals.

Like I said, I've driven a few 8K cars and haven't had issues with the pedals.

And let us know your opinion of the pedals after you try them please.

Wilco! might be a bit of a wait as I'm considering alternatives - currently R-R Sport (secondhand) is favourite but could all change again.
