My B7 Passat was involved in a front end collision but has been repaired and ran for 10k miles. I bought it as a Cat C.

I don't really use the AC but did this week on a long journey only to find it didn't work. I found the problem though, the electrical connection to the compressor is damaged. I tried to google about to see if its a replaceable part but couldn't find anything. If I push the broken plug back together the AC works no problem, im thinking of just taping it all up as is.....

Here is a pic

At work there is a 1.6d B7 and it looks like;

any thoughts?

You can buy just the connector usually, it's held in with retaining clips, but i'd personally take to an independant

get is in a working position and wrap self amalgamating tape round it. Dealers can sell you the connector as a kit. Smash what's left of yours and push your pins into the new housing.
