My car is an Audi A4 B7 1.9 TDI
My question is:

Has anyone got a picture of the hose that joins the Turbo to the Intercooler rail/pipe which runs along the front. The hose that I assume is genuine Audi, is S shape and is kinked on the bends. To me it looks a poor idea. Surely the engine doesn't jump around that much lol. It seem to restrict the air flow. Has anyone done an upgrade to the hose to make it breath better?

Thanks in advance

Alan

Thanks gupsterg

Looking at the diagram it looks like the hose between numbers 27a and 26 mine seems more kinked, S shape. Can you let me have that part number please.

That is item 5 and I have no idea how it's supposed to look on your car :o.

Reading one of your past posts you have a 2007 A4? therefore P/N:- 8E0 145 738 H is correct one? is your engine code BKE or BRB?

Hi gupsterg

I thought it was 5, but wasn't sure. I'm not sure either, what it should look like. Hence the question lol. It doesn't look right, there must be about 5mm gap inside. When squashed down at the bends. I'm hoping it's wrong. It would answer the Turbo lag, I get now and then.
BRB Is the engine code I assume the p/n you have given me is for both engine codes.

Update

The hose is the correct one for the car, apparently it is shaped that way to prevent splitting with engine roll. Hope this helps

Big thanks to gupsterg
