Hi guys/gals.

I've posted about this app in EOBD II Error Codes - Page 2 (https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?97964-EOBD-II-Error-Codes/page2) so I may as well make a new thread in here.

ETKA shows a list of all engine and transmission codes used by all 4 manufactures. You can't copy and paste so everything was manually typed in which tool me weeks. I've since found out you can save all lists as pdf files which you can copy and paste. You can download all 8 PDF files or individual ones from my app.

ETKA shows a lot of abbreviations which I've converted in the Remarks in my app.

24/12/14 Update:

Engines 6,147

AUDI 1,418
SEAT 667
SKODA 538
VW 3,524

Transmissions 12,447

AUDI 3,674
SEAT 1,242
SKODA 1,126
VW 6,405

This app uses the same COMCTL32.OCX used in my EODB II Error Codes so if that app works then this one will. Just read the ReadMe First.txt.

Now strangely this app hasn't been very popular on my other forums lets see what happens on here?

Update 20/10/15

Mega.nz have changed their update links.

MEGA ****ing site all files deleted.
I've deleted the download link.

gupsterg has pointed out a typo in BMK engine code Audi A6 shows 3.2 litre not 3.0 litre which I've corrected for the next update. If you spot any mistakes please let me know?

Hi Keith.

Just a quick message to say that I've only just found out about your database app you've developed.
I only came across this thread because I seen a link in someone's signature on another forum post (gupsterg).
You post a lot of messages on the forum. Perhaps you should make mention of your app, with a link, on your own signature.
I see you started developing your app back in 2010 and today is the first time I've seen mention of it although I've read several of your forum posts over the years.
Don't feel too down heartened about the lack of downloads. I'm sure if you give it a bit more exposure more folk will download and use it.

All the best.

Jim.

Hello again Keith.

I originally made this app 3 years ago
You posted that on the forum in May 2013, so I thought 2013 minus 3 meant you had started development of the app in 2010.
I just realized that was another app you developed. Sorry for the mix up.

Jim.

Ok this app was posted on here in 10-07-2014. I know the current download VAG Engine & Transmission Codes 14-05-2015 and VAG Engine & Transmission Codes PDF 14-05-2015 isn't new by computer standards but there hasn't been may users wanting this.

This is the old app which saves all current PDF files to your drive. The new app has a better feature. Rather than printing off hundreds of pages just for a few lines of code. With the new app you can right-click on any line of copy to the Windows clipboard, where you can paste it into a file or forum.

I've just uploaded VAG Engine & Transmission Codes PDF 12-05-2017 in post #1 (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1) if you only want the PDF files. The newer PDF files don't really show the older models, my app shows them all.

If anyone wants the newer version uploading please let me know?

Hi Keith,

I came across your application whilst trying to research compatible DSG gearboxes for my 2007 Passat.

All of the download links appear to be broken.

I cant imagine how much work it took to compile all the information.

Are you still open to contributions via PayPal in return for a copy?

Cheers,
Matthew
