This is my first post so apologies if this is a repost or if it's in the wrong place.
I bought a mk IV Golf last weekend, it's a T reg so it's been used a fair bit and there are several components I'm looking at replacing. One of this is that the adjuster for wing mirrors is broken (specifically the head has been broken off). I've had a look on eBay and I should be able to buy a new one for a few quid, I'm just wondering how you'd take the interior panels off to replace the component (I've never fiddled around with car interiors before). Also, when it comes to installing the new switch, will it just be a case of clipping it into place or will I need to do any soldering?
Here's how the switch looks at the moment.

Any help any of you can give would be great.
