View Full Version : 2008 B8 Avant with Concert (No Aux In / No Media Button) Can i just put a Newer Concert Or Symphony in???

So I have a early 08 car with Concert but it doesn't have an Aux In and there is no Media button the Radio just a SD/CD button.

Can I just replace the Head Unit with a newer Concert / Symphony that has Aux / Media?

What are my options?

You still need an aux though as well as the button.
It isn't on the head unit. It's in the armrest!

On second thoughts, from what I recall the aux was fairly naff. Why don't you stick with the SD slot?

The aux is OK, I put the same album on an SD as I have on my IPhone so I could compare, not much in it.

Actually the SD isn't that bad ;)

Just need to get bigger card, as all I have is a 256mb!!

Is that 2 album per card?
I have a 4gb in there and prob only take it out monthly for a music shuffle.

Someone on here was researching a bluetooth SD card, I'd buy one if they were available, super easy upgrade then to A2DP streaming.

whats your concert Hardware and software revision, check via the screen. most of these can be upgraded. I got my local Audi to do it and can now ply SDHC cards, currently have a 32B in. not bad when previously the max was 4GB.
