Anyone here ever update the sat nav on their 2G MMI?

Hello all.
Noticed my sat nav is missing a lot of new routes and roads for Ireland, has anyone ever try to update their sat nav? I contacted Frank Hogan Audi dealership in Limerick, quoted €350...**** that for a game of soldiers!!
