Hi Guys,
I had my car go through a major service in April this year. Had pretty much everything I could think of done from the pollen filter to brake fluid. Looking at my current mileage, I just hit 32,000 miles. I noticed in the service manual that the fuel filter is due at 38,000 miles. By my calculation there is a good chance that I'll hit 38,000 miles by about december/january time, but I don't usually put the car in for service/MOT until every April.
I don't particularly want to put the car in for a service *just* for the fuel filter - do you think it would be ok to just wait until the next service? (by then it may hit maybe 40-42,000 miles) or is it really a dire and high risk part that I absolutely must replace it at bang on 38k?
