SQ5 factory towbar pics

Hi All,

We've just purchased an SQ5 and added the towbar option.

Does anyone have this fitted to their's? I'm asking because I've seen some reviews on line which suggest it's not the same as the one pictured in the brochure.....

Does anyone have one and would they mind posting a pic and a little detail on how it operates. It's the manual swivel version.

Yes it does. It's very neat and tidy.

The only thing is, if you remove the panel first, the tow bar actually swings all the way out and locks in one go rather than resting on the interior of the panel.

Great... thanks for this appreciate it. I've seen some real awful pictures online with big square metal attachments hanging out the back of the car and was starting to wonder.....

In the USA they don't get this one as it is against their regulations. They have the detachable square bracket ones - hence all the pics of them.

How much room is there on these between bumper and tow bar, any issues with caravans? I've just recently got a Q5 and needing to get a tow bar fitted but doesn't look like much room in that you tube video. Chris
