View Full Version : Audi connect not linked.

Any one using audi connect service on your a7? I have added vehicle chassis number on the audi my connect website. I went back to my car to enter the pin provided on the website but when click on Audi connect it never asked me for pin. It showing fuel price, weather etc though. But when i log in to my audi web page a small greyed out icon saying not linked. How can i enter the pin in the car anyone have any idea?

I used the Audi "MMI Connect" app off the apple store to link mine. Worked straight away. Not a bad little app either, allows you to send destinations to the car, stream music and other bits.

Hi mitchy, i have the app aswell. As it is not linked i can't send online destination. Just got the car so i need to play withit a bit i guess.

That's strange. Mine synced straight away. You definitely have a sim in the car and the right chassis number?

Hi mitchy,
I have added chessis no on my audi website. Then the website gave me a pin number to enter on the car in audi connect menu. But when i clicked audi connect in the car it never asked me for a pin. I have sim card inserted properly. I can use wifi through car.

If I remember correctly mine asked for the pin the first time I asked for on line destination on the sat nav. Worked fine since, like Mitch was set up from the iPhone app.

Hi Len, that is the problem it never asked me for pin. Is there anyway i can reset the system so it will ask me for the pin.

Press Menu+MMI Knob+Upper right function button at the same time. The screen will close and the music will stop for a minute or so then all come back on.

Ok The reset did not work. But found a working solution. From navigation menu you have to select online destination then need to select saved destination. Then it will ask for a pin number. Thats it. Anyway thanks.
