Does the ignition come on? Does the engine turn over? Do you turn the key and nothing happen?

Does the DIS say please press the clutch to start? Have you had a fault code scan?

Ok well you need a fault code scan with VCDS or get it recovered to a Audi specialist or Audi.

So when the ignition is turned you get no dis or cluster lights at all?

Check fuses on right side of the dash & under the hood passenger front side under black plastic lid with 2 sliding locks 1 either side to allow lid to lift of.

Yes when turn key all is good, car tunes over but just won't start, us there a way for me to check if I am getting fuel and I know I have fuel in the tank

VCDS may show fuel pressure, but tbh only sure fire way is to remove the fuel line & check for fuel when turning over.

You can remove the pipe, but if its further down the line, then that wont help, but at least you can see using this method, if the prelift pump is functioning, just be careful.

Which pipe is the best to remove then to check if pump is running

*update*

I got my car towed away from my house and called the AA to come and check it over as I am a member,

He done a scan and it showed a few errors one of which was low pressure in the fuel rail, he sprayed in some easy start in through the air intake which helped start and now car is now fine, he thinks maybe a faulty pressure switch as when I was trying to start there was no pressure showing
