Prospective b7 purchase

My friend is looking at a two prospective b7 passat's, 2.0tdi, 140 b/m tec, one is a s and one a se. Both cars have close to 112k mileage. Whats the difference between bluemotion and bluemotion tec?


Is there anything to look out for with regards to the b7? Ive got a b6 so know about the injector recalls, oil pump, epb button.


Have there been any recalls for the b7? anything to avoid with the b7? Both cars are via an auction.


Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Deference between b/m tech and b/m will be specs. B/m tech should have b/t, dab media in etc.
tbh honest not much to avoid on B7 but if you can check water pump, as quite few of them suffer with leaky water pumps.
