That is a good deal!

Pity my car will be just over 5 years come the second service (based on my milage calculation).

Audi Manchester (Jardine) sent me an email allowing two services for cars up to 7 years for same price of £299. Unfortunately I got it after getting my car serviced at an indy.

I'm not sure if it is the first service which should be within 7 years.

My A4 2008 B8 is due for its service in around 40 days but its over 5 years old. Might call up my local dealer (Birmingham Audi) and see what I can get out of them.

Your car will fall under the fixed price servicing scheme.

I don't understand this "up to 2.0" thing audi have. What difference does it make if you have a 2.7 or 3.0/3.2 etc ? couple extra spark plugs for the V6 and thats about it ?!
Everything else is pretty much the same (cost wise) ?

The V6's take roughly 9 litres of oil compared to about 4.5L for the 4 cylinder cars and use more expensive filters.

Seems a good deal if you fall within the age window. Good too that you can transfer them to any future owner which could only be a positive when selling.

Well I've just dropped my 3.2 off at Audi........£649 includes new sparks and filters. Surely it doesn't cost at extra 400 quid!!!!

You're kidding. I've paid £250-£300 for all of the services on mine at the local dealer. Obviously no sparks but all the filters and I thought diesels were more expensive to service. Is your dealer just taking the Michael?

It would seem that way - just over £1000 including new disks and pads. Invoice attached.
They caught me off guard as it had an MOT just a few weeks ago at another Audi garage. Wasn't expecting brake issues!

How much an hour did they charge for labour? One of my local dealers told me, back in 2005, that they were charging £100.00 plus VAT!!!
