Particularly like the rear quarter light shot with the indicator on.
Very neat that

She was quite happy with that one too, especially as the mirror indicator is showing and everything forward of the rear end is blurred. (something to do with lenses and focus??)

Great pics. You should show them to Audi, there might be some future work!

Really nice !!
a Quickie, on the pic of the google earth screen, you have the 3G bars, strength stables.
On the left of that you have a phone, with the same strength indicator, how do you get that?
Is it a SAP phone?
I use Iphone.

Thanks. I use an iPhone as well. The left strength indicator is from the phone and the right hand one is from the SIM card that is in the dash, they have always been there since I got the car (once a phone is connected).

10/10 Flawless. Great interior cleaning job, I know how clearly specs of dust usually show up on these photos.

very nice photos. you wax or use any other product to keep the shine?

Hi Stephenl, I use autoglym super resin polish which gets rid of any swirl marks and small blemishes on the paint. 2-3 coats does the trick. Then ontop of that I use autoglym HD wax. It's not cheap but 2 coats of that with the polish underneath gives the longest lasting (3 months plus), deepest shine I've ever found.

if you put there effort in then it shows - did u get the scratch sorted on the bonnet? didn't notice it on any of the photos.
got a bag of autoglym gear free with the car and dabbled it bit with it, not sure if the HD wax was in there. used more bilt hammer products in past... better stop there before we get into beading etc etc LOL

No, still not sorted the scratch unfortunately. I've recently bought another house and it's becoming a bottomless cash pit! Getting there though. I made sure she didn't take pics that had the scratch in lol

I got a bag of cleaning kit with the wife's car but didn't have the HD Wx, it's about £50 a tub but as you can see well worth it and the tub normally does both my cars (A5 and A7) for 3 years at least. That's doing them with 2 coats of wax 2-3 times a year.

just waiting for the first scratch myself.
might look at HD wax, ta.
you get so many comments from strangers we have to keep these babies looking good. my best experience so far was in school carpark & didn't involve any words - a fella stood gazing at back of car and then continued on looking at side then stopped a few feet in front then slowly looked up to see me in drivers seat. he slowly nodded a few times, smiled and walked on.

If you are going to buy it (I get mine from halfords), wait until a buy one get one free weekend for the best deal. (You can always sell one on?) if you are ever this way you are welcome to do a body panel or two to see what you think.

I've had a number of admirers too, even people asking to swap cars. It's just so rare and unique which is what I think people like.

A pressure washer.

as above and if u have applied a good wax then flies etc come off fairly easy with quick spray and wash [includes wheels re brake dust]. someone else on here will know more but annual clay bar work over will keep the paintwork pristine too.

Hi Mitchy,

Looking fantastic. On the 2nd picture i can see from the back side of the car orange light coming out. Are those break lights? Or something else? I will have to check mine if i have those.
