Does anyone know if this same setting is still the same on a 2013 Audi A7?

Doubt it, look in the A7 section or do a quick google search.

Welcome.

I have a 2013 Audi A7. I would like to disable the seatbelt chime. I wear the seatbelt consistently. My annoyance is that my mailbox is 3 blocks from my house and I wish the chime didn't go off for the short drive home after stopping to pick up the mail on my way back home from work. Also, having it go off when moving around in a parking garage or parking lot is annoying. I've looked on Google as well as this and other sites. I've seen lots of stuff about the vcds settings to change this for other older models. I have access to VCDS so I can change the code once I know what the correct setting is for a fairly new A7.

Thanks

Have a look in the Audi A6 - C7 forum
It's in the VCDS TRICKS item. The seat belt chime is item 9. Works fine on the A7

Or wear your seatbelt ;)

Never quite understood why people disable this ??

As noted, it's just about moving the car in a parking lot or the 3 block drive to/from my mailbox.

just added how to disable it in the A7 tips and tricks thread (along with a few others I've found)

I still say put it on - you can still be involved in a fatal accident just driving 3 blocks to and from your house
