Hello guys,

I know this was mentioned multiple time however after browsing 10s of posts here and other forums I can't get an answer to what P13W bulbs should I buy to replace the standard halogen DRL in my 2008 A4 B8?

I know how to get to the bulbs (already ordered caps) but struggling to find the correct replacement. Looking on ebay for "P13W LED" I'm getting fog bulbs for Camaro ?

I've found this nice guide:

VW AUDI Forum - VWAF (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?129584-quot-How-to-quot-replace-A4-B8-Halogen-DRL-bulbs-with-P13w-LED-s)

but the poster didn't say what bulbs he used.

Please help !!! :)

Thank you

OK - nothing in this for me but you might try T8ups from a sister audi site on sales@emtuning.co.uk I bought from him as part of exactly the same upgrade. He will clearly have what you need; mine work and do just what the Dr ordered. Good luck

If someone doesn't like this post then let me know.

Andy Hi,

I've doen the same - looks good. What, if anything, have you managed to do to make your headlight halogens look brighter. i also note that you have done something to the Main Beam - they look bluer?

Will the Phillips diamond vision (http://www.shopzilla.co.uk/rd2?t=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fashioneyewear.co.uk%2Fgucc i-gg3566-wc7-red-gold-diamond.html%3Futm_source%3Dshopzilla%26utm_medium %3Dfeedmanager&mid=268280&catId=13631&atom=10736&prodId=&oid=4759838218&pos=1&bId=18&bidType=0&bAmt=490c73f10dc1f407&cobrand=2&ppr=1c63f7ce6b019010&rf=af1&af_assettype_id=10&af_creative_id=6&af_id=11444) match the colour or are they more on a blue side? :)

Thanks

Hello guys,

May sound a stupid question but what is the correct way of taking off the plastic fog lights covers without breaking any clips - I can see 4 holes 2 at the top and bottom but not sure if I have to push, lift, pull release them ?

Just replacing the bulbs ;)

Body is A4 B8 Avant

Thanks !!!

Go via the wheel arch bud...so much easier. Turn the wheel unscrew 2 screws bend the wheel arch cover.

Thanks Andy,

Thought about it but also thought going from the front is as easy - just took the cover off but the housing is all screwed to the body so looks like have to do it your way :)

The front way is the proper way you just unscrew but I couldn't get my covers off so I just went via wheel arch so so much easier did it in 10 mins!

all sorted via wheel arches :) thanks

EDIT: in case someone wonders how to take the covers off - you need a wide flat screw driver, push it through each hole and then push the screwdriver handle upward - it will release the clip - it's tricky though as you have to pull the cover at the same time so it doesn't clip back in.
