Hi, the master cylinder in my '08 reg A4 failed last week (pedal wouldn't spring back) and I've been trying to get it repaired, with a lot of to-ing and fro-ing between the warranty company, the Audi dealership I had it recovered to, and the local garage I then moved it to after the Audi dealership wouldn't fit the warranty company supplied replacement part (after sitting with the car for four days..)
Anyway, the latest hitch seems to be that the warranty company will only allow 1 hour's labour to replace the part - is that reasonable? The garage seem to think it could be a bit longer as they may have to remove the dash etc. How long should such a job take? I'm sure the first guy I spoke to at the warranty company first said around three hours, but they've only approved one on the claim.
Thx
