I've had my battery checked (it's OK) and was persuaded to have my glow plugs and harness replaced (not cheap) but the problem remains. My dealer says I can book the car in to have the issue diagnosed but I am reluctant because they will not see the problem if the engine is not freezing and the exercise will simply be a raid on my wallet.
I suspect that there is a temperature sensor that determines how long the glow plugs are on for. Can anyone confirm this? If so, where is it and is there an easy way of testing it?
