I have the car in the thread title, and it's not idling as it should, and it has a couple of error codes.
When pressing the clutch, it sometimes stalls and turns off. It can "bounce" between 500-1200 rpm 2-3 times until it stays around 700. If you then rev to 2000rpm and release it, it sometimes stalls, and sometimes starts "bouncing" as low as 4-500rpm (I suspect it compensates with gas)
The stored error codes are:
P0171 System too lean bank 1
P0140 O2 sensor circuit no activity detected bank 1 sensor 2
I also had this code stored:
P0402 Exhaust gas recirculation "A" Flow excessive detected
but it seems to have disappeared by itself now
I also have P0171 as pending error code.
So far I have only changed the fuel filter and air filter, as well as the spark plugs.
I have googled a lot on the P0171, and it seems like the most common issues are leaks in the vakuum hoses. I can't visually see any leaks, and I have sprayed a little bit of engine starter around the vakuum hoses, without it doing anything to the engine rpm. I have also cleaned the throttle body.
Could it be a faulty EGR-valve? Or perhaps bad intake manifold gaskets or something like that?
