Just had delivery of my new A5 3.0 TDI Quattro - What a car:biglaugh:
Just one little challenge. After reading the Operating manual i realised that I had the opportunity to store music on an SD card. I went to Dixons and the guy said this is the one for the audi. I have moved some files over onto the card in the right format but the MMI system does not recognise the card. any ideas of how to use this utility?

not sure how you rectify this never was able to sort in my old S4 (04-54).
has anyone had problems with the unit not working at all on cold mornings. my new A5's (lovely car) stereo dint work the other morning when it was frosty for about 5 minutes until it warmed up. this happened on the previous S4 and was never solved as the garage wanted to keep the car until it was frosty.:(
Also the complete sysytem failed to operate at all yesterday for a 20 mile journey. Coming back to the care 2 hours later it was fine!!

4 Connecting a memory stick / MP3 player
The MP3 player is switched off automatically when you switch off
the sound system or the ignition. The USB port stores the position
of the last track you were playing. If you do not alter the contents of
your memory device, the music will be continued at the point where
you stopped playing.
MP3 players and USB sticks which are not explicitly approved by
AUDI AG must have “CERTIFIED USBTM” or “CERTIFIED HIGH SPEED
USBTM” status.
Approved MP3 players
Approved memory sticks
Caution
• Do not connect a device other than a memory stick or MP3 player
to the USB port. It is not possible to operate hard disks, USB hubs,
etc. via the USB port.
• Do not plug an MP3 player directly into the USB port - this could
damage the equipment.
• Never remove a memory device when the USB port is selected as
source (CD). This could damage your memory device.
Note
For up-to-date information on compatible MP3 players and USB
sticks, please ask an Audi dealer or visit www.audi.com.

Sorry may be the question is not for here but I think is similar to a5 so may be some owner can reply me about that.

I just try to order the new A4 but have dillema about what is the engine key serrial and what is the optional in this a5 a4 cars.

I see on some youtube clips that there is just right from the wheel place that can be put somthing like key with mobile body and the question is are this is the serial key for this cars or this is addition to "advanced key"option that cost around 400 pounds +.
And if this is optional how look the regular key ?
Also what is this "start/stop engine" button on central console ?This is alone start button or is addition to this key that like like mobile...

sorry for my bad english and hope that you understand me what is my dillema really:Blush2:

regards
