No chance on getting the meanings of the first 3, did you try his manual?
Where abouts are you, VCDS is very recommended here. Are you experiencing any issues?

Still got my ongoing headlight saga. I've done a Google search on the second two, and it's just coming up with headlight faults... I know it's got a headlight fault... Most posts for this point to faulty bulbs, but would this code also include control modules and wiring etc?
I can't find anyone who's got VCDS, I'm Cheshire based and my car is in Liverpool at the minute.
I just want to put an end to this ongoing headlight problem so I can get rid of the car.

^ Seems to be in Liverpool.
Could you recap about what your problem is?

Yeah, they're xenons.
The problem, well the short version, is as follows...
Bought the car, near side headlight failed.
A garage bridged the headlights and tried to charge me £220...
Then one day it worked, next day it never.
Then both went out a few weeks later.
Next day the off side worked, a few weeks later, both worked and worked for 2 months.
Near side went off, 3 months later, off side went off. Both have never been on since.

if they are which i think they are the bulb element fails intermittently giving red herring faults for the igniter
i posted a document for b8 xenon bulb failure on here a few years ago

Just for info, it was scanned with 'Launch X431 GDS'.
So would swapping the bulbs fix it? I swear, if this is as simple as swapping the bulbs, I'm going to crack up!!

yep take them out and look for signs of milky discloured glass, if they are then there fubar
early b8 suffered from a batch of ***** xenon bulbs and were replaced under goodwill policy

It was all down to a faulty Body Control Module.

I've got the faulty part still, so I'll post the part number. It does a few things, like interior lighting, dash lights etc as well as headlights and LED running lights.
