Can any one identifty what this brown plug is on the bacl of my Audi Concert radio? It is off a A4 2002 2.0i.
I have attached a picture and it is the plug in the centre.

The plug is a "Fakra" connector and is for the aerial or "diversity antenna".

i thought it was something to do with the ariel but i am fitting a after market unit and cannot find anywhere to connect this? Have you any idea's??
The unit is a Alpine ida x001.

On a normal aftermarket unit there isn't anywhere to connect this additional aerial. Simply use the normal connector, and make sure you get an adapter to get 12v feed to the aerial amplifier

If you get a quality harness adapter it should be part of it. Like this one for a Pug -
