As a requirement for taxi's.
I'm looking for a 1kg powder fire extinguisher with gauge.
The problem isn't the fire extinguisher as such, but more on where i can mount it in the A6.

I'd like to be able to mount it under the passenger front seat, but I cannot find any mounting brackets as such that will mount this way.
Also, I'm wondering, Do Audi do a fire extinguisher + mounting kit for the A6?
I can only find this - Fire extinguisher > Retrofittable solutions > Audi Genuine Parts > Audi Philippines (http://www.audi.ph/sea/brand/ph/service/audi_genuine_parts/retrofittable_solutions/fire_extinguisher.html) which looks good but I thinks its too small (min requirement 1kg),and I'm not keen on drilling but will do if needs be.

I'm open to options though. Any ideas?

Did it have to be in the passenger cabin?

How did you get on with the windows?

No it doesn't have to he in the passenger cabin, this is just my preference as its easy to access.

Cant help but the part number for the OEM holder is 4F0860997 and the German word for fire extinguisher is Feuerlöscher

I'd mount it in the boot somewhere, more space etc.

I'd rethink that unless you want it squirting in your face and your takings swiped!

Yes drunk patrons will have a field day with an extinguisher.
As Chris said I'd put it the boot. Possible mounted under the parcel shelf thingy would be best and easy access

Point taken.
I personally don't concern myself with things like this, As harsh as it sounds I'm know to finish problem passengers. You give it, be prepared to receive it. That's all I'll say.

I think the boot would be the best place actually as the A6 hasn't got the best of leg room to be honest.
Has anyone got an extinguisher mounted in the boot? Any pics of where actually located?
