Knobs

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of getting a Touareg and have been looking on various websites. I have notice that some have 2 knobs at the rear of the gear stick and some only have the right hand side. What do these knobs do?

One is used to adjust the drivetrain - 4WD High / Auto AWD / Low Range / Low Range locked diffs. The other is used to control the ride height.

Thanks for that.I guess that's air suspension, not hydraulic. Is it any good?

Correct, those with two knobs <fnar> have air suspension.

I've only ever driven one for a few hundred miles on a motorway so I'm not the best person to ask if they're any good.

Test drive a few and see what you think?

I have just picked one up with the air suspension. :D Definitely worth it in my opinion. You can waft along in the comfort setting and when you want it to be a bit sporty just alter the suspension setting to sport and it really tightens the shocks up.
