Audi a4 sline buying help?

Hi I have a 60 plate seat Leon cr fr 170 2.0 tdi in candy white full service history with 26,000 miles on I have rang a few garages been offered round £10,500 mark but I got one upto £11,750 of a audi a4 s line 143 in white at £23,000 on a 63 plate with delivery miles I really prefer the 177 s line with the black edition package questions are

1, is it a good deal or could I do better

2, is there really much difference between 143 an 177

3, how much would I be able to get the extras that come with the black edition for thanks

2. Yes there is ... and not just 'the numbers'.

The 177 is much more willing to rev, relatively swift performance (280 lb/ft) and IMHO even has a more distinct twin-cam type of sound over the 143, at least comparing the ones I had (see if you can drive them back to back if they are located at the same place).

Anyway, I think the 143 has been replaced with 150, so perhaps you've found some stock they now want to shift and will offer better trade ins for?

3. Do you mean individually? You should check the brochure for that, but don't rule out the other 'pack' combinations. I'm happy with the tech pack and am not bothered with the black's visual appearance. Each to their own.

Hi Scott,

I am selling my A4 177 s line TDI. 61 plate, B&O, DAB. 23,000 miles. The car is in perfect condition, selling it to fund for my a4 1.8t black edition.

Hi

As a previous owner of a Leon fr 170 and now driving a 177 BE a4 I would say you will notice a huge lack of power in the 143 a4 as the Leon is a quick car.

We test drove the 143 and found it a bit unresponsive the 177 vs 143 are night and day!
