Aircon switched off but car still warm

Just noticed this, I can feel a small flow of warm air on at least the drivers side even though aircon switched off. If I turn on the aircon and drop the temperature, then colder air comes out after I switch it off. Sounds crazy I know but it's definitely unusual. Any hints? Thanks

Aircon isn't just for cool air, it does hot/warm air too.

What temps are you experiencing the warm air with ac off?

It was set at 22 degrees Chris. Then I switched it off. Usually I would expect the temperature to drop inside until I switched it on again. But this is not happening. The car is maintaining that temperature with aircon switched off. Does that make sense?
