Audi A4 B7 2.0TDI Avant Quattro 2007 engine

Hello,

I got a question to get some of you scratching your heads and some who will have the answer :)
My lovely Audi A4 B7 Avant 2.0tdi 170bhp QUATTRO has had it head gasket gone. (big crack in the head)

I can either have the head repaired, or I already have a 2.0tdi 170bhp engine sitting but it not from a Quattro car.

I believe QUATTRO is all about the gear box and the rear suspension.

Can someone shed some light.
Are Audi a4 2.0tdi 170bhp engines all the same, only the gearbox makes the difference?
Will it be easy I just take the damaged engine block out of the quattro and put the other non quattro engine in? Both are 2.0tdi 170bhp aswell.
