Hello.
Ive just bought a full B5 RS4 interior.
So a few questions if i may.
1 I know that i will need a different Climate unit with heated seat switches.Could i use a B6 unit?
Im getting the wiring from Kufatec for the Front seats.
2 The rear seats are heated too.I will need the wiring an switches for them also.Where do the switches go?
Thanks for any help.
Cheers.
Graham.

the b6 unit wouldnt physically fit and doubt wiring would be compatable, try german or american ebay heated seats are more popular over there
pretty sure the rears arent heated, wiring in seat would be for seatbelt ignitor for middle belt as avants have a 3 point seatbelt, saloons dont

Thanks for the info.
The seller said i think the rears could be heated.
Ive just got them tonight and the wire does look like its for the seat belt.
Giving them a good clean an conditioning an i will try fit them at the week-end.
So it looks like im on the hunt for an A/C unit with the heated seat switches in it.Vorsprung ebay with translate on.

Ive fitted the seats(sort of)
I had to alter the bolt holes in the rear(back rest) pivot bracket to get the backs to locate.
I have a problem with the back of the seats not locking in place as the seats must be from an avant.Bugger.
Can i get the avant locking clips an fashion them to fit....
They look nice tho.
Thanks for any help.

The top pic is double din, and the second is a single din that won't fit the front panel is a different shape, there is no cover to fit. You need one with part no. 8D0 820 043P

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/ghawks100/th_seats3.jpg (http://s1299.photobucket.com/user/ghawks100/media/seats3.jpg.html)

http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag63/ghawks100/th_seats2.jpg (http://s1299.photobucket.com/user/ghawks100/media/seats2.jpg.html)
Ive no idea what this is for.Seat memory??

This plug is empty.??
I am trying to identify which wires to connect to the heated seat function.
All searches show the wiring from the A/C unit, but not for the wires under the seats.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me.
Thanks in advance..

Hi mate fitted the same to my audi a4 b5 avant last year can you confirm the pic you posted was yours as it has no green plug next to red this would indicate it doesn't have heated front seats, the red is for seat power sorry.

Sluggs.
Thanks for that.
I realise that the Green plug is missing for the heated seats, but (pic 3) plug under the seat is empty.Does the Green missing plug connect into this??
Any ideas what (pic 2) plug is for.??
The seats were sold as electric heated seats.
The Yellow Air Bags. connected
The red is for Electric Motors. connected
Thanks for any input.

right so what your saying is possibly the green plug is missing but the wiring should be here think I might have a green plug in my loft?? also you don't need to change your ac unit if you have blank switches on your dash you can buy separate switches on eabay for £10 each and they will fit your kuftec loom, will get back to you on the plugs

I just hope that the green plugs plug into the spare plug under the seats.

ok no probs if you are buying the kuftec loom you wont need the plugs as on the loom there are plugs to plug into both switches and the main plug goes under the seat did you purchase the kuftec loom with the power loom option with the heated loom or has your original car got electric seats if not its easier to buy them together?
